Tiger Aspect’s Man Like Mobeen Trainee Scheme has once again created entry-level production jobs for candidates within the West Midlands, with four placements across Costume, Art, Production, and the Camera team. Man Like Mobeen previously won Best Comedy at the 2020 Broadcast Digital Awards and was nominated for Best Comedy at the 2021 BAFTAs.

Banijay Rights will distribute the series internationally.

Man Like Mobeen is a four-part series that welcomes you into the life of Mobeen Deen, a 28 year-old from Small Heath in Birmingham.

Viewers were left reeling by the series four finale cliff-hanger, leaving fans to ponder the fate of our haphazard Mobeen.

Guz Khan’s BBC Three comedy Man Like Mobeen set to return to Small Heath for fifth series

BAFTA-nominated comedy Man Like Mobeen has been commissioned for a fifth series by the BBC, with writers and co-creators Guz Khan (Army of Thieves, The Bubble) and Andy Milligan (Undercover) greenlit to extend the series run to six episodes, which will air on BBC Three and iPlayer.

Guz Khan returns to the series once more as the notorious lead character Mobeen.

After a terrifying escape, the boys encounter something they definitely weren’t expecting.

Episode four: H-ALTRight
Staring hate, violence and societal fractures in the face, Mobeen and his crew see the far right in their truest form, at an anti-Islam demonstration.

After Aks throws a flask and hits the leader Robbie Worthington square in the face, Mobeen takes the blame and is arrested.

But can he juggle these when his criminal past and reputation is always chasing him?

Guz Khan’s BBC Comedy Man Like Mobeen announces final series, with filming now underway and first look images released

Cast also returning include Salman Akhtar (Lootin’) as Saj, Duaa Karim (DI Ray) as Mobeen’s younger sister Aqsa, Mark Silcox (Mandy) as the true OG Uncle Shady, Korkmaz Arslan (My Sweet Pepper Land) as Turkish barber Emre, and Hussina Raja (Informer) as Mobeen’s crush Nida.

The series is written and co-created by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan, who together were named Best Writer three years running at the RTS Midlands Awards.

The commissioning editor is Kate Daughton.

But as a result, I think you should have some more. Eventually they decide to brave the toilet in the only pub for miles around, which is packed with skinheads from the demonstration.

Man Like Mobeen (4x22) is a Cave Bear and Tiger Aspect production written and created by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan. But can he juggle these when his criminal past and reputation is always chasing him?

Episode one: Bagpuss
Mobeen receives a surprise visit from the armed police, who arrest his friend Eight on suspicion of supplying drugs to school children in Small Heath - based on the description of an 'Asian male in jogging bottoms'.

The real culprit is Shahid, a local dealer who's enlisted his mum’s cousin’s cousin - 14 year-old Kareema - to move his gear.
