Böda Beach
Böda beach is located on the east coast of the island of Öland.
Slightly less strenuous is the nearby golf course.
It takes around 5 hours to get to Böda from Stockholm. It's bloody cold in the water park so don't book in advance.
Here, barefoot luxury, community and adventure await for both young and old. For this reason it is immensely popular in the summer, but given the vast length of the beach you will always be able to find a quiet stretch of sand to yourselves.

The best camping grounds I have ever been to!
Here quiet moments in the sun coexist with a vibrant life of activities. When the beach is perfect as well, what more do you need? Queues in front of everything, not a single meter space between the camping spots and tons of daily visitors. toilets, showers, cafe etc. The island is only a few kilometres off the coast of mainland Sweden, but Boda sits towards the very northern tip making it quite remote.
Book only when you know it'll be great weather, and the kids will love it.
We planned actually to spend 10 days there - long story short after 4 days we left. Towards the southern end there are a couple of large camping ground and this is where you will find all the facilities; i.e. Whether you are looking for relaxation, family time or a social holiday life, Böda Sand is the place to return to – year after year.
The holiday village offers everything from small 2-bed cabins and beachside sand nests to fully equipped 8-bed cabins and exclusive beach houses – all with their own patio, just 50–200 meters from the beach.

But this is a great beach with excellent camping right next to it. We are used to big family friendly campsites in other European countries which are handling such things way better.
