It begins on Tuesday-Wednesday in the village Jouksengi with a family-oriented market and continue in Hietaniemi/Hedenäset village on Thursday with a small and busy market. Are you travelling here by car? Svanstein Ski offers affordable accommodation in a hostel (rooms for up to 6 persons) and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and after ski, of course! Tornedalsloppet

Tornedalsloppet är ett av de äldsta långdistansloppen på skidor i Sverige och det enda loppet som startar norr om Polcirkeln med målgång söder om den.

During spring-winter, paramotor enthusiasts from all over the world meet in Svanstein for 4 days of flying above the Arctic Circle.

Even if you’re not a paramotor pilot yourself, you can enjoy the festival from the ground and meet interesting people around the campfire.

Swim the Arctic Circle

Swim back in time, across the Arctic Circle, all while crossing a country border. Bus departs from the finish at 9.00 to Svanstein.

Under vårvintern samlas paramotor-entusiaster från hela världen i Svanstein för 4 dagar med flygturer norr om Polcirkeln.

The Tornedal Race Committee hereby invites you to the 2025 Tornedal Race on skis.
Saturday, March 29, 2025 in classic style.

Report needs in connection with registration. I sporthallen har du som gäst tillgång till gym, bastu och swimming pool. This popular cruising and motor meet brings the generations together over classic cars. Husen ligger i Risudden i Tornedalen, beläget vid gränsälven mellan Sverige och Finland, knappt tre mil söder om mållinjen på Idrottsplanen i Övertorneå.

Eftersom Finland är i en annan tidszon, en timme före, firas Finlands nyår först och Sveriges nyår en timme senare. Parkering med motorvärmare för alla gäster.
